sh[OUT], GoMA

I was considering writing about the sh[OUT] debacle up in GoMA (Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow), especially the previous row over the interactive Bible – an open Bible, with pens alongside an invitation: “If you feel you have been excluded from the Bible, please write your way back into it” – but instead I shall link you to a thought-provoking post on Knitting, Sex and God which is far more coherent than my scattered thoughts on the subject.

It ties in rather well with what I was saying about the Catholic church’s overtures towards the world of contemporary art so I hope to put some of my reactions into words eventually. I might even start anotating my own Bible, although it’s hard to believe that I will look back on my scribblings as anything other than idiotic a month from now.
