Eat Your Heart Out — disgustingly brilliant baking
If you’re looking for something awesomely Halloweeny to do in London this weekend you should head over to St Bart’s Pathology Museum for Eat Your Heart Out.
It’s the latest bake-stravaganza (is that a word already? It really should be) put together by Miss Cakehead and Carla Connolly, curator of the Pathology Museum, featuring all manner of dreadfully disgusting and, if previous events of hers are any indicator, completely delicious sweet treats.
My favourite thing is that because the baking is so anatomically/medically accurate some of it being used in talks and presentations raising awareness of various diseases and conditions – mole cupcakes for the signs of melanoma and the cancer truffles for a prostate cancer presentation.
Eat Your Heart Out, 26-28 Oct, St Bart’s Pathology Museum
